Shipping and Delivery Policy
At The Kids Bazaar, we are committed to providing our customers with timely and reliable delivery services. We source products from third-party warehouses locally in Australia, as well as in Asia and the USA. Please note that orders may be dispatched from different warehouses, which could result in varying delivery timelines. While we aim to ensure an efficient delivery process, we are not liable for delays that are outside of our control.
Order Processing & Dispatch:
All orders will be processed within 24-48 hours during business days (Monday to Friday), with the cut-off time for processing orders set at 8:00 AM Melbourne time (AEST). Orders placed after this cut-off time will be processed the following business day. Processing time excludes public holidays, unforeseen disruptions, and events outside our control.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping fees will be determined based on the delivery method, product type, and destination.
Free Shipping: Available during promotional periods.
Bulky Products: Bulky items are excluded from free shipping offers unless explicitly stated during promotions. Shipping costs for bulky items will be calculated separately during checkout before placing the order.
Delivery Timeframes:
Delivery timeframes are provided as estimates and are subject to the availability of products and the dispatch location. Estimated delivery times are as follows:
Metro Areas: 7-12 business days
Regional Areas: 10-16 business days
Bulky Products: Delivery may take 6-8 weeks. Estimated delivery time and shipping costs for bulky products will be displayed at checkout.
The Kids Bazaar makes every reasonable effort to adhere to these delivery timeframes; however, we do not guarantee specific delivery dates. Delivery delays due to force majeure events (including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, or customs delays) will not be held against The Kids Bazaar.
Shipping Methods
Orders may be shipped via third-party carriers, and the carrier selected will depend on the warehouse location and delivery address. While we make reasonable efforts to select an appropriate carrier, the choice of carrier is not guaranteed.
Upon dispatch, you will receive tracking information, if available. Please note that tracking may not always reflect real-time updates, and The Kids Bazaar is not liable for delays or lack of updates in the tracking information.
Delivery Issues:
If an order is marked as delivered but has not been received, please contact our customer service team at contact@thekidsbazaar.com.au immediately. We will initiate an investigation with the relevant carrier.
No Tracking Updates: If tracking has not updated within 48 hours of dispatch, please contact us for assistance. We will liaise with the carrier to resolve the issue.
Undeliverable Products: In cases where an item cannot be delivered, we will contact the customer to arrange an alternative solution. The Kids Bazaar is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete address details.
Returned to Sender (RTS)
If an item is returned to the sender due to incorrect address details, refusal to accept delivery, or any other reason, the customer will be responsible for re-delivery charges. The Kids Bazaar is not liable for any issues arising from incorrect address information provided by the customer. If a refund is requested, a one-way shipping charge and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Unsuccessful Delivery
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to reasons such as no safe drop-off location, the parcel will be redirected to a local depot or post office. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the tracking and arrange for re-delivery or collection. Additional re-delivery charges may apply. The Kids Bazaar is not liable for any additional costs or inconveniences resulting from unsuccessful delivery attempts.
Remote & Exempted Postcodes:
Certain remote or regional postcodes may incur additional shipping fees, and some postcodes may be exempt from free shipping offers. If your order is affected, you will be contacted to confirm additional charges before processing the order.
Island Postcodes (e.g., 0822, 2899, 4875) and other remote locations may be subject to higher shipping charges or may be undeliverable due to logistical constraints.
Consumer Rights & ACCC Compliance
The Kids Bazaar complies fully with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as administered by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Under the ACL, we are committed to:
Fair Pricing: All shipping costs will be disclosed before the order is finalized.
Consumer Guarantees: Our products are guaranteed under the ACL. In case of defective products or delays, you may be entitled to a remedy, including a refund, replacement, or repair.
Delivery Rights: You have the right to request resolution in cases of delivery issues, including delays or non-receipt of goods.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide remedies as required under the ACL. However, The Kids Bazaar will not be held liable for any delays, lost packages, or damage caused by third-party carriers outside our reasonable control.
Disclaimer
The Kids Bazaar takes all reasonable precautions to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders. However, we cannot be held liable for delays or non-delivery arising from factors outside of our control, including, but not limited to, shipping carrier issues, inclement weather, customs delays, or other unforeseeable circumstances. The Kids Bazaar will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delayed delivery or product defects.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Kids Bazaar’s liability for any breach of these terms is limited to the amount paid for the products in question. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses or damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of business, or reputational harm resulting from delays or delivery issues.

The Kids Bazaar carries out the best possible efforts to deliver the packages to your customer irrespective of the location without considering the profit margins. However, if there is any postcode which is incurring additional loss and is not mentioned in the table above we will contact you through email and get it resolved as a mutual decision. Our team will highlight the shipping cost and will request the cancellation of the order. This strategy is opted to ensure that most postcodes in Australia are delivered free.

However, if the shipping costs are too high our team will get in touch with you with the additional freight amount required to ship the order. If you agree to pay it we will ship the order or else the order will be cancelled and refunded.
