Refund and Return Policy for The Kids Bazaar

This Refund and Return Policy is issued by The Kids Bazaar ("we," "us," or "our") and applies to purchases made through our online store. By purchasing our products, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy. We are committed to ensuring that your purchase experience is satisfying and in compliance with relevant consumer protection laws, including Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the ACCC.


1. Change of Mind Returns

We provide a 14-day return window for change of mind returns, beginning from the date of delivery, subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its intact original packaging with all original tags and labels attached.
  • You must notify us within 14 days of delivery to initiate the return process. Any requests made after this period will not be accepted.

Exclusions: Certain items are non-returnable under our change of mind policy. These items include, but are not limited to:

  • Health and safety products
  • Bulk purchases
  • Opened or used items
  • Underwear
  • Gift cards
  • Products returned due to incorrect or incomplete delivery (unclaimed packages or wrong address)

Please ensure that you carefully read the product description on the website for any product-specific exclusions, as they may be clearly indicated in the description.


2. How to Submit a Change of Mind Request

To request a change of mind return, please follow the process outlined below:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to contact@thekidsbazaar.com.au with your return request. Include your order number, proof of purchase, the product(s) you wish to return, and a brief reason for your return.
  2. Provide Evidence: Include images and videos clearly showing the item in its original condition, unopened packaging, and with all tags attached.
  3. Return Approval: If your return request is approved, we will send you a return shipping label for the return process.
  4. Return Shipping: If a return label is not provided by us, you are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping. Return shipping fees and a 10% restocking fee (calculated on the item price and original shipping fees) will apply.

3. Refund Process for Change of Mind Returns

Refunds will only be processed once the returned item is received by our team and meets the conditions set forth in this policy. Specifically, the returned product must be:

  • Unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its intact original packaging with all tags attached.

  • If the item is approved for return, the refund will be processed as follows:

    • A refund of the item price and original shipping fees, minus the return shipping costs and 10% restocking fee.
    • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of our team confirming the product’s eligibility for return.

Please note that return shipping fees are non-refundable, and all items returned under change of mind are subject to inspection to ensure compliance with our policy.


4. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact our Customer Service team within 7 days of receiving the product. We will work with you to offer a return, refund, or replacement based on your preference.

In such cases, we may request that the product be returned for inspection. We reserve the right to determine whether the product is eligible for a refund or replacement. Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a remedy in case of faulty or damaged products.

Important: Please do not dispose of faulty items without prior consultation with our Customer Service team, as we may need the item returned for inspection. Failure to follow this process may result in your refund or replacement request being denied.


5. Warranty

Our products are covered by a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from user misuse, accidents, or incidents occurring during delivery.

To facilitate your warranty claim:

  • Provide images and videos of the faulty item or defect.
  • We may require the item to be returned to us for inspection before issuing a refund, replacement, or repair.
  • Please ensure the item is returned in its original packaging, with all tags intact, to expedite the process.

If the product is found to be defective, you will be entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund, in compliance with your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


6. Excluded Items

Certain items are non-returnable under our policy. These include:

  • Health and safety products
  • Bulk purchases
  • Opened or used items
  • Underwear
  • Gift cards
  • Products returned due to incorrect or incomplete delivery (unclaimed packages or wrong address)

7. Promo Items

Unless otherwise stated, promo items are non-returnable and non-refundable.


8. Return Shipping

As our products are shipped from third-party warehouses located in different locations, the return address will be provided to you once your return is approved. We will send you a return shipping label for the return process. If a return label is not provided by us, you are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping, which includes return shipping fees and a 10% restocking fee.
